    Emily began to dream up the Oh Shala Festival in 2019. As a local community yoga teacher, she had been bringing new offerings and facilitators to her community to understand new and different tools to add to the wellbeing toolbox. Emily’s been attending music and wellbeing festivals for years and there is nothing like to he energy of a an outdoor event!

    Benny Chandler

    LOGISTICS

    Benny has been working with The Open Shala for the last 4 years working as a coach and caterer for retreats and workshops. During the festival 2022 Benny become a key member of the team running the logistics of the festival and will continue to do so for 2023. Benny will be looking after the technical and structural aspects of the festival.

  • Amber Valentine

    SITE MANAGER & ACCESS AMBASSADOR

    Ten years ago, Amber unintentionally opened a yoga studio with 30 mats — a small experiment that grew into a thriving community. After it closed during Covid, they created HHJC, an online wellness hub that still connects teachers and local practitioners today.

    Amber has poured her heart and design vision into Oh Shala, helping to create new spaces and dialogue for young people including starting the new Gen Z Tent. She is the Access Ambassador, driving improvements in the access facilities and support for Oh Shala.

  • Siobhan Emin-Prentice

    DIVERSITY AMBASSADOR

    Siobhan is a wellness facilitator who has supported the community globally through events, retreats and festivals. She is passionate about freedom, truth and unity. Her offerings focus on womb/women's healing. Siobhan has a background in psychology, shamanism, and womb healing. This year Siobhan will be bringing a mixture of her gifts and weaving embodied movement, and women's ceremonies. She has a mixed background from Mediterranean, Caribbean, African, Indian and Native roots. This year she is contributing to creating space for change within the festival at Oh Shala. She is this years Diversity Ambassador.

    Fizz Yasin is a radiant force of joy, healing, and heart-led connection. A yoga and meditation teacher, NHS and private health coach, facialist, and berkshire’s chief elf & children’s entertainer, Fizz weaves her many gifts into a soulful tapestry of wellbeing. Her journey began from a deep desire to help others feel truly seen, supported, and uplifted — a calling that came straight from the heart.

    Whether she’s guiding a calming breath, making little ones laugh, or holding space for deep transformation, Fizz brings light, love, laughter and leaves a touch of sparkle wherever she goes
