Empower Bootcamp: Strength, Confidence & Energy I’m Ren, a women’s strength coach and founder of Tribe Collective.

I help women build strong, confident bodies through strength training, while also supporting their mindset, energy and overall wellbeing. My sessions are all about creating an empowering environment where women feel supported, capable and challenged at their own level. This bootcamp will be a full-body strength and conditioning session designed for all abilities. Expect a mix of strength-based movements, functional training and energising circuits that will leave you feeling strong, accomplished and uplifted.

Whether you’re completely new to training or already active, everything will be adaptable so you can move at your own pace while still being challenged. The focus isn’t just the workout, it’s how you feel walking away: stronger, more confident and more connected to your body.

Maryam Shakiba is a London based odissi performing artist dedicated to sharing the beauty and richness of odissi dance. Her practice focuses on the experience of inhabiting the body through dance and movement, and the process of developing emotional sensitivity and internal growth through rigorous immersion in dance.

Odissi is a form of Indian classical dance from the state of Odisha; a dance that began life over 2000 years ago as a sacred offering within temples. The dance in its original form saw it danced by Maharis; women who lived in the temple complex and devoted their lives to dancing for the divine. The dance was offered then, as it is now, to Lord Jagannath – the principal deity in Odisha.

While on a 3-month sabbatical in Dahab, Egypt, Jonathan was bitten by the comedy improv games bug. After showing a higher-than-normal love and affinity for it at the weekly comedy improv games meetups, he was invited to join the core group of performers. Together they do regular live public performances at one of Dahab’s most popular nightclubs. Jonathan’s mission is to share the fun, magic and confidence building laughter he enjoyed in Egypt with all and any who venture to join him. In the two years since returning from Egypt Jonathan has facilitated Improv comedy games at a number of festivals including, LoveJam, Elemental Temple, One Land festival, Mind body and soul festival and informally at numerous parties and social gatherings.

Improv comedy games are an amazing way to have fun, laugh and meet people! It’s like play time for adults and mature teenagers. Game formats range from quick one word ice-breaker games to longer story driven scenario games. All require participants to react in real time instead of following a script. Don’t be intimidated! Unlike stand-up comedy where one person is expected to be funny and make a crowd laugh, the first rule of improv comedy games is, “don’t try to be funny!” Simply be yourself and let the games bring the fun out of us all. So please come and join us in an atmosphere of safety, trust and support where we get silly, bring out the best in each other and have a great laugh while doing so!
