Zoe Hatch / Barefoot Singing

Barefoot Singing led by Zoe from Sound and Song. Journey more deeply into the world of singing in this profound vocal workshop that gives you the opportunity to process, heal and grow. Singing is an incredible journey of self discovery. It’s a whole body experience that enables us to get in touch with and express every part of ourselves. It’s a way to tune in, to listen and to give voice to our experience. When we use sound in playful and creative ways, we find new vocabulary, we can release and move on from the old and welcome in the new. We can become who we really are. Shy singers, non-singers and karaoke divas are all welcome to this inclusive workshop. You will be expertly guided towards building textured layers of harmony so that everyone can feel the warmth and resonance that comes when we bring our voices together. Sound and Song is a community interest company that uses song to facilitate health and wellbeing. We recognise that singing is a fundamental part of being human. It’s an essential piece of life’s jigsaw puzzle and we can’t quite be our whole wonderful selves without it, so we delight in creating opportunities for you to find your voice and to experience the joy of singing with others.

The session will be led by our founder Zoe Hatch - a warm, dynamic and engaging songstress and workshop facilitator. Singing together is such a special experience - we look forward to welcoming you.

Rebecca Whittaker / Grounding Somatic Practice

Release Stress & Tension Naturally - a somatic/body based workshop

I work with individuals (on a group or one to one basis) who experience symptoms of stress or trauma such as anxiety, depression and physical illnesses using various modalities that I have trained in over the last 20yrs.  I have a background in coaching and nutrition and use these skills alongside TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises), Havening and sound therapy to rebalance the ANS (autonomic nervous system) and bring the body, mind and soul into alignment.  Our modern day lifestyles and choices mean that we are seeing and evergrowing, exponential explosion in these symptoms including mental health and a huge rise in self harming and suicides.  Havening and other self-help modalities are the key to the future.

James Kinghorn / Wind and the Trees

Wind and the Trees (18+)

An exploration into the self, allowing you to connect to your own energy, an incredible experience for individuals and couples in a safe, fully clothed environment.

Based on the premise that we must gain awareness of our true selves before we can be in union with others. James will guide you through some of the history behind tantra, you will learn where tantra came from, its role in the modern day, and cover topics such as boundaries, consent, desires, and fears. This will flow into a light taster of different western / neo-tantric practices that will enable you to connect with yourself through some dynamic games with movement, breath, light touch, conscious connection, an eye-gazing meditation, and finishing off with a sharing circle. This workshop is great for anyone who is curious about tantra and wants to explore in a safe, fully-clothed environment. This is an all-inclusive event. You are encouraged to be true to yourself and identify as you see fit. All ages, genders, orientations, races, religions, or any expressions of yourself are welcome.

As there is touch involved, this is an adult-only workshop.

Come and explore the winds of change within yourself!
